And if 2TB SSD's come out for $200 when my current drives start failing, I'm buying a batch of them. Hey, we all can dream.
If it helps any... in 2011, we were buying Seagate Momentus XT 500GB's for about $140. Now of course the Intel 535 480GB is occasionally spotted for under $150 (today $159 at NewEgg). And in 2011 the average cost per gig for cheap grade SSD was about $1.50/GB. Today that's around 22c/GB, but even the better grade stuff is cheap!
I'm already in the affordability zone here.
