Hi everyone,
I have two HGST SSDs (exact model reference is HUSSL4020ASS600) that I want to connect to a SuperMicro X10SRL-F via an LSI 9220-8i crossflashed to a 9211-8i P20 IT mode. I'm using a Mini SAS 8087 to 4xSAS 8482 cable to connect the drives to the card.
My problem is that even though I covered the 3.3V pin, the drives still won't boot up and show a fixed amber light from the moment the system is powered up. I thought there was a problem with the sector size and tried to convert them to 512B using this guide but obviously sg_scan -i won't show any of these two drives.
Is there anything obvious that I'm doing wrong?
Thanks for the help and have a nice day!
